In 1946, in a post-war context, our first workshop provided footwear to the local community, crafting the typical shoes of the time with the available materials: espadrilles made from esparto grass and leather boots with recycled tyre soles. It was located in Osor, a small village in the province of Girona, Spain, near the Mediterranean coast.

Today, Toni Pons is the best-selling espadrille brand made in Spain worldwide.
